Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED: OCTOBER 2026 · ALIGNED WITH POPIA & GDPR PRINCIPLES
OUR COMMITMENT · CONSENT-GATED TRACKING
We never collect engagement data without your permission.
In-banner engagement analytics — qualitative signals such as hover, scroll, in-view exposure time, and element-level interest on our service pages — only operate when you grant analytics consent. If you deny or withdraw consent, tracking stops immediately and no engagement record is created or updated. Your choice is stored locally, re-applied on every visit, and respected across the entire platform.
ANALYTICS TRACKING DISABLED
No consent choice yet — tracking is off until you decide.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us — such as your name, email address, company, and role — when you book a discovery call, submit a conversion form, or register for an account on the Njinga Growth OS platform.
We also automatically collect technical data through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser type, device information, and usage patterns (pages visited, time spent, features used). This includes in-banner engagement analytics — qualitative interaction signals such as hover, scroll, in-view exposure time, and element-level interest captured on service pages. This data is processed via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager under Google's data processing terms.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to: process and confirm discovery call bookings; send calendar invitations and follow-up communications; provide and improve the Growth OS platform and its tools; analyse platform usage to optimise performance and user experience; and send product updates, newsletters, and marketing communications (only where you have opted in).
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data with trusted partners who support our operations — such as Google (analytics), calendar providers, and email delivery services — strictly under data processing agreements that require confidentiality and prohibit unauthorised use.
3. Cookies & Consent
We use cookies and similar technologies to measure performance, personalise content, and deliver relevant advertising. Our cookie consent banner — compliant with Google Consent Mode v2 — allows you to accept all, reject all, or customise your preferences across three categories:
Necessary cookies are always on and essential for the website to function. Analytics cookies help us understand visitor interactions, including in-banner engagement analytics (hover, scroll, in-view exposure, and element interest) captured on service pages. Advertising cookies enable personalised ads and ad effectiveness measurement. You can change your consent choices at any time — your preference is stored locally and re-applied on each visit. In-banner engagement tracking only operates when analytics consent is granted and stops immediately if consent is denied or withdrawn.
4. Data Retention & Your Rights
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined above, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Booking and enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months. Account data is retained for the duration of your active subscription plus 90 days.
Under applicable data protection laws — including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA, South Africa) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU) — you have the right to: access your personal data, request correction or deletion, object to processing, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
5. Requesting Access to or Deletion of Your Engagement Data
You have the right to know what engagement data we hold about you and to ask us to delete it. Engagement data includes the qualitative in-banner interaction signals we capture on our service pages — hover, scroll, in-view exposure time, and element-level interest — stored against an anonymous session identifier.
To request access to or deletion of your stored engagement data, email thando@njingadev.com or wasanga@njingadev.com with the subject line "Engagement Data Request". Include the approximate date of your visit and, if available, the service page you interacted with. We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete access requests within 30 days and deletion requests within 60 days, in line with POPIA and GDPR timelines.
When you withdraw analytics consent, in-banner tracking stops immediately. Any engagement data already recorded before withdrawal is retained only for the period stated in Section 4 and is then permanently deleted. You do not need to give a reason for your request, and exercising this right will not affect your access to the platform or our services.
6. Security & Compliance
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), access controls, regular security reviews, and cloud infrastructure hosted on platforms with industry-standard security practices.
While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but commit to notifying you of any data breach affecting your rights within 72 hours of discovery, as required by POPIA and GDPR.
